Tiwari has voraciously used the literary device of personification, where the animals have got voices and they speak out in almost every short story of this collection. The narrative is simple and endearing without any complexities of the adult mind. The age old tradition of grandparents reading out stories for the toddlers is back with a boom in this collection.
